# Cargo Goals

> The Cargo Finance mission and the roadmap from the Genesis Vault to a multi-asset platform.

## Mission

Make the physical asset itself (a kilogram, a tonne, an ounce) into collateral that travels, so that on-chain capital can finance the first mile of the real-world asset trade against goods that are checked, owned, pledged and priced, rather than against crypto price risk.

## Roadmap

| Rescheduled, dates to be announced | Genesis Auction for the Genesis Vault (Cycle 1): $500k minimum, $1.5M cap |
| Genesis settlement | RFQ and Liquidity Bridge live |
| Batch 2, the first batch auction after Genesis | Permissioned cvCOCOA/USDC pool planned |
| Batch 4 | First redemptions |
| After Batch 4 | cvCOCOA/USDC Morpho lending market (planned) |
| Next | New assets, each after the eight tests: robusta coffee (cvROBUSTA) and white sugar (under study) |
| Later | Further asset classes with a strong fit, such as precious metals (gold), in separate vaults |
| At scale | A licensed secondary venue (such as a regulated DLT venue) once volume justifies it |

The Genesis Auction has moved from its original 14–23 Oct 2026 window.
